Hello I'm a huge fan of this game, I had so much fun playing this game, BUT I was wondering what was up with the ending. You know with the 'If the player ends the game with a high completion rate, just as Trace is about to succeed on his research, Athetos himself appears saying that he cannot outrun himself, and after telling him that it is 'time to wake up', he shoots him.' Is that the grandfather paradox we witnessed. And if that is so. Does that nead there is a slim possibility for a sequel. Because I'd love to see & buy that? Last I heard he was going to but his son was or is having some health issues.I dont want to get my hopes up too much though as much as I loved the game it took him 5 years alone to do it and as far as I know that was the same plan. I dont really see myself caring to wait five years when we have no idea if he is actually working on it.I'll just for now consider the story complete they killed trace to prevent another disaster unless told otherwise and I see some art or some proof that the game is being worked on.

The Rusalki couldn't take the risk of him going exactly the way of Athetos. Not exactly. It wasn't that they feared him, Trace became Athetos in the Breach after all and not on Earth (the name came from Earth but the madness did not).

Fact is, thousands of years had passed, there was no way to return him home. They don't have time travel powers.
