We are currently working on the multiplayer update and we expect it to be done sometime this year (2020). So far it's going great and we are trying to decide how many new things we want to add to the game.
Forager The highly popular and quirky 'idle game that you want to actively keep playing'. Explore, craft, gather & manage resources, find secrets and build your base out of nothing!
Would you prefer to wait longer and have new content to play with your friends? Or should we just focus on getting multiplayer ready ASAP and add content later?
Let me know!We could definitely do something with the late-game Void! I have a few ideas myself, but what kind of things are you interested in?
Should we make some new super-difficult void exclusive bosses with special drops/rewards?Absolutely! I am sorry this is taking so long, but it will definitely be worth it! Updates for consoles are being worked on by an external team and they are very very very good at it. They are MUCH better programmers than I am so you can expect the game to run MUCH better and have FEWER bugs soon. I have so much faith in their work, it's going to be great when the updates are available later this year!
PS4 and Switch players will be getting ALL the updates they are missing probably all at once (Appreciation + Combat + Nuclear)I love this idea! If no mods do this I will consider us officially supporting it in future content 👍Right now we are testing several different things. I like having colored arrows + player names but I also want to add some more cosmetic customization options. As you know, every time you get an achievement in Forager you unlock a brand new cosmetic item to customize your character with.

Hey Foragers!Our most recent Nuclear Update introduced a lot of new content and features to the game, including full Steam Workshop support for modders.It's been awesome to play your mods, here are some of my favorites!The amazingly talented Bee finally lets us play with her custom cosmetic items! There are over 157 custom items to choose from and more are being added constantly!Wow! Look at all these awesome cosmetic items! 😱This very simple but creative mod allows you to change the visibility of all your droids by just pressing the UP and DOWN arrow keys!This excellent mod allows you to use some very powerful commands for debugging (or for breaking the game for fun!)This mod adds a brand new Teleporter structure and Teleportation Wand! You can quickly teleport around with these new additions as you see fit!Kyo's mod adds some cool new effects for Pickaxes and Swords, it's really impressive-looking!This fun mod adds Glasshouses to the game! They can be used to grow and harvest plants and flowers 🌱.
What will be new?Steam Workshop Support (players can create their own mods with very little programming knowledge!)A new powerful end-game boss with rare drops.Nuclear tier structures that need to be powered with UraniumTons of community-suggested improvements! (for example, Unlimited Saves, improved FPS/Performance & also craftable Flower Seeds!)Dozens of new items to discover, craft and unlock!And much more!Thank you for playing the game, sharing it and giving us your ideas and suggestions! As always, I intend Forager to be a game we build together as a community. I truly believe players can help good games reach their best potential and become.
