The player reads the book and discovers a detailed description of an island world called Myst. Placing their hand on the last page, the player is whisked away to the world described and is left with no choice but to explore the island.Myst contains a library where two additional books can be found, colored red and blue. These books are traps that hold Sirrus and Achenar, the sons of Atrus, who once lived on Myst island with his wife Catherine. Atrus writes special 'linking books' that transport people to the worlds, or 'Ages', that the books describe. From the panels of their books, Sirrus and Achenar tell the player that Atrus is dead; each brother blames the other for the death of their father, as well as the destruction of much of Atrus' library.

Posted: 24 AprilThis game is an incredible re-imagining of the original Myst, and manages to hold up graphically today despite being an upgrade of a 3D game which itself was a remake of a game released way back in 1993. The addition of an extra age to explore is a nice bonus. The one thing I would complain about, however, are the few videos which had to be re-recorded in order to fit into the real-time rendered version of the game. I felt like the performances in these new videos was not up to par with the originals, feeling rushed and unconvincing, and for that reason I still recommend new players experience the original prerendered version of the game first through Myst: Masterpiece Edition.
The multi-player versions in Pikmin 3 are great. I've gone through the co-op missions, and done several bingo battles. At this point I still prefer the marble game in Pikmin 2 for vs, but the bingo battle is great fun as well. If you like Pikmin 2 (or 1), I highly recommend this game. Pikmin 3 is the third installment in the Pikmin franchise, which is a real-time strategy video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Wii U. Pikmin 3 bosses.
