Backyard Monsters Average ratng: 4,3/5 5025 reviews

After many months devoid of any noteworthy updates, Kixeye has, according to a Moderator’s post, decided to cease the development of Backyard Monsters.I came across this post while browsing the Community Support forum and laughing at all the pathetic nubs shouting “HAX! BRINGS OUT TEH BANHAMMER!” A seemingly frustrated Moderator let it slip that there would be no bug or glitch fixes and that development had ceased completely. In fact, the only staff working on Backyard Monsters are those in Customer Support (until the robots rise up, that is). They cited Backyard Monsters Unleashed (their upcoming mobile version of the game) as the reason for development being cut.Understandably frustrated, I began to answer the questions on the forums about various glitches and such with answers that can be summed up as “Kixeye officially halted development, Customer Support is name they assigned to their sentient overlord computer that feeds on sadness, and this bug/hacker will not be stopped.” Today I woke up to find that not only were all of my posts deleted, but that the original post by a Moderator is gone as well. They have cleaned up all traces off this comment. If this doesn’t sound familiar by now, allow me to explain. A while back, the game known as Backyard Monsters was playable on this website called Kongregate.

Kongregate was completely ignored. There was no new content, hackers and scripters abound, and no Customer Support to speak of. Then one day, a Moderator created a post that stated that Kongregate was to be shut down and that players would receive 500 shiny as compensation. They didn’t bother to post on Kongregate (Possibly only Kixeye’s third visit) until a few days later. This created an absolute uproar. Not only were they ripping apart friends and an entire community, but the amount of shiny given in “compensation” was insulting.

Sep 20, 2019  We have a whole bunch of security camera set up in our backyard and today we got notifications of something out in the yard at night! First it caught.

It didn’t take long before this Moderator’s post to be removed as well. Not long after, the game was shut down on Kongregate.Alas, we appear to be nearing the end.

Hitman, the series of violent and visually sumptuous stealth shooting games, has come to iPad in the form of, a mannered, turn-based puzzle board game.As bizarre as the juxtaposition seems, however, this isn’t quite as illogical as it sounds. Hitman go gameplay. For one thing, Hitman—despite the kinetic and controversy-baiting adverts and the heavily armed stripper nuns—was always a quieter game than it was given credit for; its big points are generally earned by slipping through a level with barely a ripple, taking down your mark cleanly while leaving the guards not only alive but unalerted. There’s also a precedent for this kind of thing. Several big-name console and PC games have dipped their toes in the iOS waters by applying their core storyline and visual themes to a totally different (and usually far simpler) gameplay experience.

The Leaderboards are full of hackers using instant takeovers, The Titans (a Super-Alliance) and most other big alliances use hacks to move ever upward on the Alliance Leaderboard, and bugs continue to ruin the game. The only thing that hasn’t shown up is Base 0 and/or OOPS. I do not expect the game to last much longer, even with Backyard Monsters Unleashed coming out in the near future. Simply put, they messed up their own game and potential profit. And now, near the end of it all, they refuse to tell the players. People who will potentially pay money for shiny have no clue what is happening.

Kixeye is having one last hoorah in terms of robbing people. And now, I will take my leave before Zys shows up and says “I told you so! No purple cookie for you. All hail the Ol’ Mighty Powah!”.

You mean that they just now made it official?!This is completely baffling! Why would they take a perfectly functioning game and abruptly cease to support it? I never saw this coming and I am in a state of shock that will likely last quite some time. Thank all of you, of making it possible to have such a good time, even though it was way too short. No need to use obvious guises to remain impartial wave. We all know that your enjoyment of the game was solely derived from your friendship with me. Its been months since my last visit here, but I will say your point is actually incorrect.Development on BYM has not halted. It is under management of a new (and more incompetent) team while the actual coders are busy with Kixeye’s new tittles (TOME: Immortal Arena, Vega Conflict and the upcoming Backyard Monsters: Unleashed for IOS)It is currently under minimal development, not none.

However there isn’t much difference about it though. There are seldom bug fixes here and there, nothing more.and @zys123: you are the most annoying BYM player I have ever encountered on this forum and on the official Kixeye one as well. This is due to the fact of your childish belief of ‘the Ol’ Mighty Powah’ act, which is completely stupid in my opinion.

The signs of the game ending was and still is obvious. We can obly be 100% certain after Unleashed is out.Originally posted by.al244098(/forums/81/topics/354549?page=1#posts-7413951):. As a long-time BYM player on Facebook the time has come for some radical moves. Kixeye seem to want to kill their game off but are reluctant to admit they got it totally wrong. They do nothing about any Cheats/Hacks. (I always send reports in but now we don’t even get an acknowledgement that they will look into it) – The looter’s leaderboard usually had 3 people at the top with impossible amounts of loot (Many Billions in 1 day) – then a couple of weeks ago people were turning up with “Trillions” of loot till the top 6 places were taken up with them. This week the Top 15 places are all impossible amounts of loot.

(The top 2 are identical amounts in the “Quintillions” – that is 18 X 000s after it) – I doubt the complete membership of BYM would have that amount available for 1 player to legally loot, let alone 2 and still leaqve some for the rest of them. – My guess is that the “real” players will help Kixeye kill the game now in their own inimitable style! – Watch this space:).Originally posted by.al244098(/forums/81/topics/354549?page=1#posts-7413951):. This is due to the fact of your childish belief of ‘the Ol’ Mighty Powah’ act, which is completely stupid in my opinion. My point is actually fully correct. You can see it in how people play the game. You want to know what most of the big alliances are doing now? Hacking Outposts, deleting defenders, turning Outposts into MYs, and permanently killing yards. All of this is achieved through rather primitive means that can be stopped by an even slightly active and caring development team. In fact, this game could have been maintained in a hacker free albeit boring and lifeless sort of way extremely easily.Originally posted by.Apt43Tech(/forums/81/topics/354549?page=1#posts-7457942):. I’d really like to see Kixeye (They are a company, not a person) go out of business.

I’m surprised what they did to Kongregate gamers didn’t generate a more widespread backlash on the Internets, it was concentrated mostly here at Kongregate. Real gamers lost real money. Kixeye gave no real answers, just took our money and ran. It’s a damn shame they are still out there developing crappy games on Facebook and scamming people for money.Ain’t gonna happen. With their rapid growth, new successes and even better ones just around the corner you can expect KIX to become quite a huge name in gaming in the near future.

• After many months devoid of any noteworthy updates, Kixeye has, according to a Moderator’s post, decided to cease the development of Backyard Monsters.I came across this post while browsing the Community Support forum and laughing at all the pathetic nubs shouting “HAX!

OP is full of crap on the facts. Only thing they got right is BYM not being developed.

Agarest war zero character builds I don't remember if it was Zero or 2 but one of them has protagonist(s) worse than Duran in it as a warning for anyone who hates Duran like me.

Kixeye needs to go to Mobile to compete, and BYM was definitely the best choice for that. Especially after they screwed up the game so badly. Are you idiotic? My post can be summed up by “BYM is not being developed” and yet you say I am full of crap before agreeing with me on most of my post. Perhaps when you dispute an argument next time you should actually do it rather than start accusing them of lying.Originally posted by.al244098(/forums/81/topics/354549?page=1#posts-7413951):.
